Rory McIlroy shot a 5-under 67 during Sunday's final round of the BMW Championship to take home the tournament crown. McIlroy finishes at 20-under for the tournament and two shots better than second place finishers Lee Westwood and Phil Mickelson. McIlroy recorded back-to-back birdies at 15 and 16 to give himself some breathing room. He played it safe on the 18th hole, recording a bogey but still finishing two shots ahead of Westwood and Mickelson.
Tiger Woods recorded a 4-under 68 on Sunday to pull within three shots of the lead and finish in a tie for fourth place with Robert Garrigus at 17-under.
Mickelson entered Sunday as the tournament leader, but his 2-under 70 on Sunday wasn't enough to hold off McIlroy.
