The Georgia Bulldogs are double-digit favorites for Tuesday's New Year's Day game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the 2013 Capital One Bowl, according to OddsShark. Georgia opened the game as 8 1/2-point favorites, but the margin has since increased to 10 points.
The Bulldogs won six consecutive games after losing to the South Carolina Gamecocks, but lost to the Alabama Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship Game, 32-28. Had they managed to earn the victory, Georgia would likely be facing the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the BCS National Championship.
Nebraska also fell out of BCS Bowl contention with a loss in its conference championship game when it was outmatched by the Wisconsin Badgers. Despite six consecutive wins, the Cornhuskers lost, 70-31, and gave up over 500 rushing yards.
The over/under has also changed since opening at 57 points, rising to over 60 in most books and as much as 61 1/2 in some.
