NFL playoffs 2013 schedule: How to watch AFC, NFC Championship games

New, 2 comments

We take a look at the schedule for the AFC and NFC Championship games.

USA TODAY Sports

The AFC and NFC Championship games are set, with both contests coming on Sunday. The San Francisco 49ers will take on the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC, while the New England Patriots will play host to the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC.

It promises to be an exciting weekend, given the matchups. The Ravens just upset the top-seeded Denver Broncos, as Ray Lewis looks for another Super Bowl victory before calling it a career, while Tom Brady is fighting for ring number four to match Joe Montana and secure his legendary status.

On the other side, the 49ers are trying to overcome last season's mistake-laden loss in the NFC Championship, and if their destruction of the Green Bay Packers is any indication, they will. The Falcons, meanwhile, barely managed to get by the Seattle Seahawks, but they're playing with a lot of energy and it should be an exciting matchup.

Here's the schedule for both games.
