The 2013 Men's NCAA Tournament Final Four is coming to the Georgia Dome in Atlanta on Friday, April 6. The first semi-final game will pit the No. 1 Louisville Cardinals against the No. 9 Wichita State Shockers, while the second matchup will feature the No. 4 Michigan Wolverines against the No. 4 Syracuse Orange.
Louisville reached the Final Four by defeating the No. 2 Duke Blue Devils 85-63 in the Midwest regional final. The Cardinals ran away from the Blue Devils in the second half after watching teammate Kevin Ware suffer a gruesome leg injury let in the first half. Wichita State upset the No. 1 Gonzaga Bulldogs in the third round of the tournament, then defeated the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes 70-66 in the West regional final.
The Syrcause 2-3 zone has bothered all four opponents, as the team upset the No. 1 Indiana Hoosiers in the Sweet 16 before smothering the No. 3 Marquette Golden Eagles 55-39 in the East regional final. Michigan pulled off a remarkable comeback to stun the No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks before blowing out the No. 3 Florida Gators 79-59 in the South regional final.
Louisville and Wichita State will tip off at 6:09 p.m. ET on Friday, while Michigan and Syracuse are scheduled to start at 8:49 p.m. ET. CBS will televise both games.
