2013 Masters Par 3: Start time, TV schedule, tee times and more

One of the best annual traditions in sports kicks-off on Wednesday before the Masters begins.

David Cannon

The 2013 Masters is set to begin on Thursday. Before all of the action gets underway at Augusta, the annual Par 3 Contest will commence Wednesday afternoon.

The Par 3 Contest is a great event that always delivers plenty of smiles and laughter. With family members serving as caddies, it really relaxes the players before they play what many consider to be the toughest event on the PGA Tour.

All of the action is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. ET on Wednesday, April 10. It typically takes four or five hours for the event to wrap up. It should be a beautiful day on the course, with no rain in the forecast and temperatures expected to be in the low 80s.

ESPN will televise the Par 3 Contest from 3-5 p.m. At the same time, those not able to be in front of a television can watch for free through the Masters official website.
