Sergio Garcia and Marc Leishman are tied for the lead at 6-under after one round at the 2013 Masters at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Ga. Garcia was steady on the day, playing a bogey-free round with six birdies. Leishman shook off a bogey on the first hole to close with a 5-under back-nine, including four birdies in a row from holes 13 through 16.
Tiger Woods ended his day four back of the leaders with a 2-under 70 and tied for 13th. Woods finished with four birdies and one bogey that came on hole 14. He has some work ahead of him to earn a fifth green jacket, but he's no stranger to comebacks.
American Dustin Johnson is all alone in third place, but missed an opportunity to end the day tied at the top with a bogey on the 17th hole. The powerful 28-year-old is looking for his first major title, and has himself in excellent position after 18 holes.
Phil Mickelson finds himself five back, but it could have been worse. Lefty hit three bogeys on the first nine holes, but recovered with a 3-under back-nine. Rory McIlroy's day was even wilder. He holed five birdies but matched that with five bogeys to finish the day even in a tie for 33rd.
