Last night's gathering at the Ted was the best crowd I've ever been a part of. Dueling chants unprompted by the PA, relentless energy, this kind of thing, and we must never, ever stop chopping except to celebrate our own chopping. During the early top of the eighth inning the place died down a little, with girlbro behind me asking me to sit down when there were two strikes on the board (didn't quite happen)! We might not have packed the house, but we did have an entire Citizens Bank Park worth of fans in the building (more on that later).
↵As soon as the game ended and the Giants hopped around in the infield, a "BOBBY! BOBBY!" chant burst out, the 115th different chant to well up on the evening.
