Prado led the team in slugging percentage and finished near the top in all other major stats, but it was his injury that forced the team to use Brooks Conrad at second base throughout the stretch run and in the playoffs, a position Conrad clearly was not comfortable playing. If we evaluate a player's value by how well his team does without him, a very strong case could be made for Prado.
