Cliff Lee To Phillies, Josh Smith Is A Child, And Dale Murphy To The Hall: Around The Perimeter

Braves: Well, hell. Startling ace Cliff Lee is a member of the Philadelphia Phillies, giving them the best pitching rotation since the '90s Braves. Braves & Birds finds a parallel, as Greg Maddux also turned down bigger money with the New York Yankees to join a loaded rotation, and points out that good things come to fans who lead the league in attendance.

Talking Chop rates the Bravesliness of some former Braves who've made their way onto the 2011 Baseball Hall of Fame Ballot. Dale Murphy of course grades the highest, as Bobby Cox and Hank Aaron are arguably the only gentlemen to ever be more Bravesly. Also included: Fred McGriff, Marquis Grissom, B.J. Surhoff, Bret Boone, and Raul Mondesi.
