Jonny Venters, Sid Bream Interviews; Takashi Saito Signs With Brewers

I hope Santa was good to everyone. The following is a list of baseball links for you to sift through as you await the Falcons and Saints on Monday Night Football.

Mark Bowman interviews Braves reliever Jonny Venters. It's more of a personal Christmas interview than informative, but it's worth checking out.

↵

Talking Chop interviews former Brave Sid Bream as part of their interview series with the Braves Fantasy Camp. The previous interview was with Otis Nixon, both of which were excellent. Go check them out.

↵

Former Braves reliever Takashi Saito signed a one-year deal with the Brewers. The deal is said to be similar to what he received from the Braves last season. When healthy, Saito can be a great late innings reliever, but health has been his problem for few years now. He can no longer be counted on as a workhorse in the bullpen, but he can provide some quality innings for a contending Brewers club.

Crashburn Alley wrote a piece in response to Lincoln Mitchell's article stating reasons as to how the Phillies could falter in 2011. Bill Baer at CA responds by squashing those reasons and further proving the Phillies are the favorites in the National League, as though we needed that reminder.
