↵Rob Biertempfel has an article about Matt Diaz's first days as a Pirate. Apparently, Diaz gave Andrew McCutchen hitting instruction while Diaz was a minor leaguer for the Rays. Now that's kind of funny.
↵The Rockies have come to terms with Matt Belisle on a one-year deal. Belisle established himself in the Colorado bullpen last season with a 2.93 ERA and 2.68 FIP in 92 innings. He looks to remain a solid late-innings option for the Rockies. Belisle was drafted by the Braves in the second round in 1998, and he was last seen pitching for them in 2003.
↵Bill Baer of Crashburn Alley compares FanGraphs' fan projections between the Braves and Phillies. It's funny how out there some of the Braves projections are. I guess it shows Braves fans are pretty optimistic. At least when we have something to be excited about.
