Hue Jackson, Timid Mark Richt, And The Best Sports GIFS: Around The Perimeter

.com: Jon Bois has compiled the 40 (and then some) best animated sports GIFs of 2010. If you haven't seen this yet, it is very, very worth your time. Locally relevant GIFs include a Falcons-Saints surprise, Brian Wilson losing to the Braves, Urban Meyer's Lane Kiffin delight, wheelchair-trampling Florida Gators, Roy Oswalt turning into Kirk Cameron, Les Miles ommmmmm, and an entire page devoted to the GIF journeys of a former Falcons draftee quarterback. And lazy Albert Haynesworth becomes J. Alfred Prufrock.

Falcons: One-time Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Hue Jackson is now the coach of the Oakland Raiders. Jackson served during the Petrino year months, though he has never publicly called Petrino a "gutless bastard" or given Ohio State its only bowl win over an SEC team ever.

Also, Shutdown Corner throws out Jim Mora's name as a potential Carolina Panthers coach. Oh please oh please oh please ...

↵

Dawgs: Dawg Sports shows that 2002 Mark Richt never would've settled for a field goal after driving 96 yards against a Conference USA team.

ACC: D1scouse has a list of winners and losers in the Maryland Terrapins hiring of Randy Edsall.
