Mets Vs. Braves Score: Oliver Perez Allows Four In Two Innings For 4-0 Braves Lead After Four

Martin Prado put the Braves on the board first with a RBI single in the third. It was set up by a Joe Mather double. Mather also walked with the bases loaded to bring home a second run in the fourth, and Shawn Bowman drove in two on a single. All of this off Oliver Perez.

Rodrigo Lopez started for the Braves and pitched two scoreless innings, allowing a leadoff walk to Willie Harris and single to Scott Hairston. Freddie Freeman assisted with a pretty 3-6-3 double play to force Hairston.

Mike Minor pitched two perfect innings behind Lopez. There were three flyouts, one lineout, one popout and one groundout. No walks and no strikeouts.

Chipper Jones is getting his first taste of action since the knee injury. He was called out on strikes on a full count in the first inning off Chris Young, but he lined a single in the fourth off Perez. He slid into second to break up a double play and everything looked fine.

Dan Uggla grounded out in his first Braves at bat, and he struck out against Perez in the fourth.
