Super Bowl Recipes, Signing Day Wrapups, And Brian McCann's Future: Around The Perimeter

Dawgs: Blutarsky has a list of National Signing Day recaps and reactions, Dr. Saturday names Isaiah Crowell among the two recruits of the year, Dawg Sports is pumped about Nick Marshall and shows how this proves commitment pays off, Braves & Birds puts Crowell's performance in the context of the NFL Draft ... And before I'm accused of linking to stories about one team at the cost of another, let me say I'd link to some Georgia Tech blogs besides this one that are writing about signing day, as soon as you kindly point me in the direction of them.

Oh, here's one -- Tomahawk Nation says Tech and the rest of the ACC "cannot hope to compete" with the Noles any more. Have a feeling that exact phrase is going to be fun to keep in mind down the road, don't you?

NFL: Super Bowl recipes. They'll be a-flyin' in all weekend, but we've already got a few great ones lined up.

↵

Braves: Rob Neyer, a writer I've discovered can crank out a story in as much time as it takes to scratch an itch, lists Atlanta Braves catcher Brian McCann second among MLB catchers over the next decade, but the voting public puts McCann third.

↵

Georgia Southern: How about those Eagles, anyway? Did you know they finished with the Southern Conference's second-best recruiting class? That's on top of going to the FCS Semifinals and returning almost every starter, by the way.

This has been your daily-ish circling of the Atlanta sports blogosphere and more. If you have anything that belongs here next time, holler. To ride with us again tomorrow or so, follow @SBNAtlanta on Twitter.
