PHOTO: Jason Heyward Hits Opening Day Home Run (Again), Braves Fan Catches It

Jason Heyward now has a two-year streak of swatting home runs on Opening Day, belting a one-run shot in the second inning against the Washington Nationals to extend the Atlanta Braves lead to 2-0. Heyward's jack was the first of the MLB season by any player on any team. In the first inning, Chipper Jones scored the first run of the MLB season. At this rate, no other team will ever score anything!

It's also pretty awesome that a Braves fan in DC caught Heyward's homer:

Last year, in case you're just now joining us, Heyward hit an Opening Day homer in his first-ever major league at bat. Everybody went absolutely bonkers. Kind of used to it by now. How do we convince Heyward that every day is opening day? Hey, remember when that was the city of Atlanta's official motto for a while? Might've been on to something.
