FanGraphs posts its Braves team preview. This is a good representation of the Braves' upcoming season and makes a lot of good points, which is rare for team previews because so many miss the little details or aren't accurate.
↵John Sickels at Minor League Ball continued his excellent career profile series with a look at Chipper Jones. It's always fun to look back at the career we were fortunate enough to witness on a daily basis.
↵Phillies outfielder Domonic Brown broke his hamate bone and will be out 3-6 weeks. Brown began his Spring Training with a 0-15 skid, so his spring couldn't get much worse. Crashburn Alley has a good post on the injury, including timetables for his return and for his power. Even after Brown returns, his power likely won't return to normal for a long time.
↵Chase Utley received a cortisone shot in his knee, and he has yet to play in a game this spring. It looks like the tendinitis is worse than expected. Not a good start to spring camp for the Phillies.
↵The Mets would like Jose Reyes to work on his OBP before they offer an extension. Not bad thinking for the new front office.
