This game is the perfect example of why baseball is still played on a field and not a computer. The Marlins have gotten to Tim Hudson for five runs through four innings as Florida leads, 5-0.
Chris Coghlan got the Marlins going in the first inning with a leadoff double. After Omar Infante grounded him to third, Hanley Ramirez singled him in. The Marlins loaded the bases with no outs in the second on two singles and a walk, and Josh Johnson singled in a run for the second one. Coghlan followed with a two-run single down the line for four runs.
Logan Morrison homered in the third for Florida's fifth run.
Hudson allowed runs in each of his first three innings before receiving a scoreless fourth. There has been a mix of hard hit balls and soft grounders through holes, but Hudson's command has been fairly good. He has nine groundouts to one flyout.
On the other side, Johnson has a no-hitter through four innings. The only baserunners have been walks by Chipper Jones and Brian McCann. He has five strikeouts.
