In his last outing, Tim Hudson turned in one of the best performances of his career throwing a complete game one hit shutout against Milwaukee. Hudson is 1-0 against the Nationals this season allowing three hits and one run over seven innings back on April 3.
Hudson will be opposed by former Atlanta Braves pitcher Jason Marquis. Marquis is 3-1 with a 3.66 ERA this season and is coming off his worst start of the season where he surrendered 10 hits and six runs in just five innings against Phillies. Before that game, Marquis had won three straight starts and pitched into the sixth inning in each of those starts.
