Atlanta Braves pitcher Derek Lowe was arrested a month ago, allegedly for racing his Porsche through Buckhead against a friend while drunk. Charges were soon dropped due to lack of evidence, and after taking a look at police dash-cam video of the incident it's not hard to imagine why things turned out that way. Here's the video, via WSB-TV:
You can see the two cars hurtle down Peachtree Street, with the officer electing to pull over Lowe's car, which he calls an Aston Martin. The officer tells Lowe to "stop bulls****ing me" and says, "don't tell me how to do my job," so clearly things were heated between the two. Lowe insists he didn't do anything, refuses a breathalyzer test and defends himself by saying, "Once you say you play baseball, you're already guilty."
It's also noted the other driver was let go without so much as a ticket.
