Saturday, Atlanta Braves pitcher Tim Hudson toed way more than just the rubber and ended up showing off his middle school tumbling class experience. He was able to survive the harrowing spill without even firing the ball into orbit or burying it in the dirt. My favorite part might be watching Freddie Freeman slightly shift his gaze to see his pitcher sprawled on the ground in shame.
Relive the terrifying moment again and again, and thank goodness no one was maimed:

Hudson overcame the setback and earned his seventh victory of the season, weathering six innings before finally being allowed into the dugout to mend his wounds.
Peter Moylan, the Braves' most talented tweeter, announced Sunday morning that Hudson's new nickname is Adele. I've laughed for at least two minutes about that.
