2011 MLB All Star-Game Rosters: Jair Jurrjens, Jonny Venters, Chipper Jones Join Brian McCann

The rest of the 2011 MLB All-Star Game rosters have been announced, with Atlanta Braves Jair Jurrjens (first appearance), Chipper Jones (seventh) and Jonny Venters (first) joining starting National League catcher Brian McCann, who's making his first career start in his sixth straight appearance. Somehow Jurrjens won't get the starting honor, but life is hard.

Clayton Kershaw of the Los Angeles Dodgers; Cole Hamels, Cliff Lee and Roy Halladay of the Philadelphia Phillies; Joel Hanrahan of the Pittsburgh Pirates; Tyler Clippard of the Washington Nationals; and Heath Bell of the San Diego Padres, along with Matt Cain, Ryan Vogelsong, Brian Wilson and Tim Lincecum of the Giants, make up the rest of manager Bruce Bochy's pitching staff.

The other position players joining the 2011 NL starters: Arizona Diamondbacks OF Justin Upton; Chicago Cubs IF Starlin Castro; Cincinnati Reds IF Brandon Phillips, IF Joey Votto and OF Jay Bruce; Colorado Rockies SS Troy Tulowitzki; Florida Marlins 1B Gaby Sanchez; Houston Astros OF Hunter Pence; New York Mets OF Carlos Beltran; and St. Louis Cardinals OF Matt Holliday and C Yadier Molina.

Also, former Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets catcher Matt Wieters earned a manager's choice nod from Ron Washington as the American League's backup catcher. And finally, fans will have an opportunity to vote in one more player for each team.
