Atlanta's fine closer Craig Kimbrel might have been snubbed out of an All-Star Game selection by manager Bruce Bochy, but the accolades are starting to roll in for the talented reliever. Not only is he just two saves away from tying Jonathan Papelbon's saves record at the All-Star Break, but he was also named Rookie of the Month for the National League. ↵↵↵Congrats to Craig Kimbrel for being named NL Rookie of the Month for June. He went 1-0 with 8 saves and a 1.93 ERA in over 14 appearances.

Keep up the good work, Craig. It's truly a joy to watch you make Major League hitters look stupid at the plate whenever you come into the game. While it will be a close race to the finish, one would have to presume Kimbrel is one of the favorites (if not the favorite) right now to win Rookie of the Year once the season concludes.
