Braves vs. Marlins: Uggla Continues Hitting Streak, Atlanta Wins 8-5

The Braves conclude their nine-game road trip in Florida this week. Will they come away with a series victory? Find out inside.

The Braves will face the Florida Marlins this week for a three-game series in hot and humid Miami. The two teams faced off just last week, so let's jump right into the preview. Not a whole lot has changed...

One of the most underrated players in the game...

Gaby Sanchez

#15 / First Base / Florida Marlins

There really isn't anything to not like about Gaby Sanchez's game. He hits for average, gets on base and has quite a bit of pop in his swing. His defense at first base is as good as it gets and is frequently meeting with his pitcher on the mound whenever they begin to struggle. He currently leads the Marlins in WAR at an even 3.0 and is about to hit his prime. Sanchez has been struggling somewhat in the last few weeks, but he is very good player who can do some damage.

Series Outlook:

The Marlins have lost their last four games and have struggled to play consistently all season long. Atlanta's pitching has been anything but steady since the All-Star Break and hopefully the staff can get back on track this week. Rain is in the forecast, but all three games should be played.
