Dan Uggla had three hits, including a two-run home run in the fifth inning as the Atlanta Braves defeated the New York Mets 9-4 on Friday at Champion Stadium. For Uggla it was his fifth home run of the spring season.
Mike Minor went 4.2 innings in his start for the Braves, giving up three runs on three hits. He walked three while striking out four New York batters.
In addition to Uggla's three hits, Michael Bourn and Martin Prado also had two hits each as the Braves moved to 7-13 with the win. Yohan Flande was the winning pitcher, moving to 2-0.

Turning attentions to Saturday, the Braves will take on the Toronto Blue Jays, who have jumped out to a 17-4 record in Spring Training. Randall Delgado is the mound for Atlanta, facing Henderson Alvarez of the Blue Jays.
