The Atlanta Braves could not overcome the Cincinnati Reds on Monday, but look to respond to that 4-1 loss with a win on Tuesday in the second of a four-game series between the two teams.
Atlanta (26-17) recorded only two hits against the Reds in Monday's loss, while Cincinnati did just enough offensively to win. This is the fifth of a seven-game road trip for the Braves, before they return home for a six-game home stand.
Braves pitcher Brandon Beachy will face Mat Latos in the pitching duel. Beachy is 5-1 on the season with a 1.33 ERA, while Latos holds a 2-2 record with a 4.63 ERA.
