The Atlanta Braves already knew they were going to be without third baseman Chipper Jones on Tuesday night due to a sore ankle. With first pitch a little more than two hours away, the club announced catcher Brian McCann was scratched from the lineup due to flu-like symptoms. David Ross, who has done more than hold his own at the plate this season, will make the start for the Braves.
McCann has been scratched from tonight's lineup. He is feeling under the weather.

Ross will bat seventh in the lineup. Jason Heyward and Juan Francisco have moved up a spot in the order to fifth and sixth, respectively. No word on whether or not McCann will be available to pinch-hit later this evening. Should the situation call for it, Matt Diaz would likely serve as the emergency catcher for Atlanta.
