Braves vs. Nationals Lineups: Freddie Freeman Returns, Chipper Jones Still Out

The Braves have scored just 10 runs in their last five games, which is their worst stretch of the season thus far. Not only are a few guys slumping, but injuries and illness have really taken their toll lately. Chipper Jones has had just one at-bat since last Friday with a severely swollen and sore ankle, and Brian McCann has not started since Saturday with the flu. Freddie Freeman has battled issues with his eyes the last few weeks and missed Thursday due to blurry vision.

Jones and McCann will be out again on Friday against Ross Detwiler and the Washington Nationals, although Freeman will return now that his specially ordered contacts and sports glasses have arrived. Here is the rest of the lineup:

Michael Bourn - CF
Martin Prado - 3B
Freddie Freeman - 1B
Dan Uggla - 2B
Matt Diaz - LF
Jason Heyward - RF
David Ross - C
Jack Wilson - SS
Tim Hudson - P

First pitch from Turner Field is set for 7:35 p.m.
