MLB Standings: The Atlanta Braves Continue Slide Down NL East

A seven-game losing streak has the Atlanta Braves just one game ahead of the last place Philadelphia Phillies. It was just a week ago that the Braves were sitting pretty in first place.

The NL East has turned out to be the toughest division in baseball, as it is the only one with all five teams sporting a winning record.

The road does not get any easier this week for Atlanta as it plays the St. Louis Cardinals, who are in second place in the NL Central, and the first-place Washington Nationals.
