MLB Mock Draft 2012: Braves May Select OF Tyler Naquin In First Round

The 2012 MLB Draft is just under a week away. When the event kicks off on June 4, the Atlanta Braves will hold the No. 21 overall pick. One name that has popped up a few times as a potential first-round target for the Braves is Tyler Naquin of Texas A&M.

In the latest mock draft at Baseball America, Jim Callis again suggests that the Braves will use the No. 21 pick to select the Aggies outfielder.

The sophomore bats left and throws right and is currently finishing up his junior year at Texas A&M. He picked up first team All-America honors from College Baseball Insider in 2011, when he led all college players with 104 hits, his .381 average led the Big 12 conference and he led all A&M players in runs, doubles, triples, walks and total bases.
