Atlanta Braves Vs. Colorado Rockies: Saturday Probables, TV Schedule And More

After scratching out 19 hits in an 11 inning, 8-7 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Friday, the Atlanta Braves will take on the Rockies again on Saturday, in the second game of a three-game set.

Mike Minor will look to quiet Colorado's bats, as he draws the start for the Braves. Minor is 2-2 with a deceptively high 4.68 ERA. Minor's WHIP sits at a cool 1.13, and he has held opponents to a .254 batting average. Minor has also done well missing bats, as he's struck out 30 in 32.2 innings of work, while only walking eight batters on the year.

Atlanta's bats will look to stay hot as they take on 49 year old Jamie Moyer. Despite averaging less than 80 mph with his fastball on the year, Moyer is 1-2 with a 3.14 ERA -- which, unfortunately for Moyer, is deceptively low. Moyer's ERA is due to rise eventually, as he's currently sporting a 1.57 WHIP and is allowing opponents to hit .308 off of him. Expect the Braves to put quite a few balls in play tonight as well, as Moyer has struck out only 16 in 28.2 innings on the year.

First pitch is scheduled for 8:10 p.m. ET from Coors Field in Colorado. Televised coverage can be found on PRIME TV, Fox Sports South or MLB Network, so take your pick.
