Braves vs. Yankees Lineups: Jason Heyward Sits In Favor Of Matt Diaz

Following a rough 3-0 loss on Monday night to Ivan Nova and the Yankees, Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez decided to make a change to his normal lineup for Tuesday's showdown (beat down?) with CC Sabathia. The Braves will send Matt Diaz out to right field instead of Jason Heyward, which is mind blowing considering J-Hey is the far-superior defender and is finally showing signs of life at the plate.

At the same time though, this is the same silliness that Gonzalez has done ever since arriving in Atlanta. We're at a point where nothing really surprises me anymore. Here is the lineup for tonight.

Michael Bourn - CF
Martin Prado - LF
Brian McCann - C
Dan Uggla - 2B
Matt Diaz - RF
Chipper Jones - 3B
Freddie Freeman - 1B
Andrelton Simmons - SS
Mike Minor - SP

First pitch from Turner Field is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. EST.
