The Atlanta Braves finally snapped their four-game losing streak on Friday night against the Baltimore Orioles, winning by a score of 4-2. The club used a late-inning home run from Andrelton Simmons to take the lead, and they added on an insurance run for Craig Kimbrel as he came in to record his 19th save of the season.
The Braves will now hand the ball to Brandon Beachy, who had his start pushed back a few days to help rest his sore elbow. Beachy's velocity was down a bit in his last two starts, which was obviously a big concern for Atlanta. All eyes will be on the young righty tonight against a tough Baltimore lineup.
Fredi Gonzalez has released his lineup for Saturday night's game. Freddie Freeman is out as he continues to nurse a sore finger, and Chipper Jones is out to rest.
