Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Brandon Beachy already had his start pushed back a few days due to elbow soreness, and now after only 51 pitches and Beachy has left Saturday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. It is likely he is suffering from the same elbow soreness that caused Beach's start to be pushed back, but the exact reason he left the game is still not known.
Beachy lasted only 3.2 innings but was pitching well as he did not give up a hit, had five strike outs, walked only one batter and gave a run. Assuming that it is the same elbow injury, something must have come up during the fourth inning. It is possible that Beachy could head to the disabled list if it is more than elbow soreness.
