Orioles Vs. Braves Final Score: Atlanta Blanked Again In 2-0 Loss

The Atlanta Braves have been held scoreless for 20 consecutive innings and suffered back-to-back shutouts for the first time since 2009 as they fell to the Baltimore Orioles 2-0 in Sunday's series finale.

Randall Delgado deserved a better fate as he drops to 4-7 after allowing three hits and two runs in eight innings of work. The first run came on a Mark Reynolds sacrifice fly in the second inning and the final run was balked home by Delgado in the sixth.

Wei-Yen Chen picks up the win for the Orioles allowing six hits and no runs in seven innings. Jim Johnson picked up his 20th save of the season with a perfect ninth.

Andrelton Simmons went 2 for 3 and had a dazzling play in the field but it was a forgettable day for the Braves offensively. Atlanta outhit Baltimore 7 to 4 but grounded into three double plays. Adam Jones went 2 for 3 for the Orioles and was robbed of his third hit by Simmons in the fourth.

Atlanta opens a three-game set with the Yankees in New York on Monday.
