Braves Vs. Nationals Time, TV, Radio Info And More

After rain postponed Friday's series opener, the Braves and the Nationals will open an abbreviated two-game set Saturday afternoon. Atlanta will skip Mike Minor in the rotation and go with Brandon Beachy (5-3, 1.77 ERA) while the Nationals will counter with Friday's scheduled starter Stephen Strasburg (5-1, 2.64 ERA).

The rain also postponed the debut of prospect Andrelton Simmons who will take over for the Braves as the regular shortstop after replacing Tyler Pastornicky on the roster. Simmons was hitting .292 with three homers and 21 RBIs for Double A Mississippi at the time of his promotion.
