With Brandon Beachy lost for a year after successful Tommy John surgery on Thursday, the door has reopened for Jair Jurrjens to rejoin the Atlanta Braves' rotation after a disastrous start to the season had him demoted to Triple A Gwinnett. Jurrjens is currently 0-2 with a brutal 9.37 ERA, but showed some improvement with a 3-4, 5.18 ERA record in the Minors.

Atlanta has won five of their last six road games, and their 22-15 mark is the second-best in the NL behind the Nationals.
