The Atlanta Braves have won three straight on their slow climb out of the NL East basement after a terrible slump to end the month of May. Now sitting just two games behind first place Washington and in second place, the Braves can put some distance between themselves and the Marlins (also 3-1-25 and two games behind the Nationals) by completing a series sweep on Thursday.
Struggling Mike Minor will take the hill for Atlanta, and his performance in May (0-2, 9.95 ERA), was a contributing factor in the team's slide.
Date / Time: Thursday, June 7, 7:10 p.m. ET
Location: Marlins Park, Miami, Florida
TV: Sports South
Radio: WNNX 100.5, WCNN 680
Probable Starters: Mike Minor (2-4) vs. Mark Buehrle (5-5)
