Zack Greinke's name has been involved in many trade rumors with several different teams over the past few weeks and that figures to remain the case leading up until the July 31 trade deadline. However, the Milwaukee Brewers haven't explicitly put him on the market.
Despite the constant stream of rumors surrounding Brewers right-hander Zack Greinke, General Manager Doug Melvin still sounds like he wants to see how the team fares early in the second half before making deals
Teams such as Atlanta, Baltimore, Texas and Anaheim have all been rumored to be open to trading for Greinke. Texas and Anaheim are also pursuing Cole Hamels so that could also play into the equation. Greinke will be a free agent at the end of the season and some teams may be hesitant to trade top prospects for what could amount to be an end of the season rental.
