Braves Vs. Marlins Preview: Wednesday Game Time, TV Info And More

After their victory Tuesday night, the Atlanta Braves will try to take the rubber game of their three game series against the Miami Marlins this afternoon at the new Marlins Stadium.

Tommy Hanson (10-5, 4.50 ERA) will take the mound for the Braves, looking to bounce back from his worst two starts of the season. Hanson has given up a combined 17 hits and 14 earned runs in 9-1/3 innings. While the Braves won both games, Hanson saw his ERA almost go up a point from 3.71 to 4.50.

Miami will counter with Ricky Nolasco (8-8, 4.55 ERA), who has lost his last two starts. In his last time out against the Pittsburgh Pirates on July 20, Nolasco gave up eight hits and four earned runs in six innings of work.

The Marlins will also be without Hanley Ramirez, who was traded last Tuesday night to the Los Angeles Dodgers for two prospects.
