Braves Vs. Marlins Final: Atlanta Gets By Miami With Ease, 8-2

The Atlanta Braves and Miami Marlins met just one week ago on the baseball field and the Braves took two of three games from the Marlins om the road in Miami. On Monday night the two teams met again and Atlanta won in convincing fashion by a final score of 8-2.

The game was relatively close going into the bottom of the fifth inning with the Marlins trailing the Braves by a score of 2-1, but Atlanta broke the game open with a four-run bottom of the fifth and scored single runs in the bottom of the sixth and seventh inning to close the game out.

Atlanta hurler Tommy Hanson gets credited with the victory as he pitched five complete innings while giving up six hits, and just one earned run while striking out three Miami batters.

At the plate, Michael Bourn, Dan Uggla and Juan Francisco each registered two RBI's in the game.
