MLB Standings 2012: Braves Hold 4-Game Lead For Wild Card, Trail Washington By 6 Games

The Atlanta Braves built on their lead in the NL Wild Card race when they beat the Washington Nationals on Wednesday night, winning 5-1. The Braves currently trail the NL East-leading Nationals, and Atlanta struggled to capitalize on the opportunity that was their three-game series against Washington. They dropped two of three, settling at six games out.
