2012 MLB Standings: Braves Still 2.5 Back Of Nationals

The Braves look to keep the pressure on the Nationals when they open a three-game set against the last place Astros Friday night at Turner Field.

The Atlanta Braves took three ouf of four from the Miami Marlins and have pulled to within 2.5 games of first place Washington in the N.L. East division race. The Braves open a three-game set with the Houston Astros Friday night at Turner Field.

After winning the series against the Marlins, the Braves will become their biggest fans this weekend when Miami opens a four-game set with the Nationals on Friday with a day-night doubleheader.
