With a playoff game already clinched and coming off a series sweep over the Miami Marlins, the Atlanta Braves welcome the New York Mets to Atlanta for a three game set starting Friday.

The Braves send Tim Hudson to the mound with the righty boasting a 16-6 record on the season to go with a 3.61 ERA. Hudson will look to help the Braves capture their sixth straight victory, a streak that has allowed the Braves to climb within four games of the Washington Nationals in the National League East divisional race. The Braves continue to pace the NL's Wild Card race.

The Mets counter with Jon Niese, whose 12-9 record and sub-4.00 ERA have helped to steady the Mets' pitching staff in 2012. The 72-84 Mets will close with three against the Braves before finishing with a three-game set against the Marlins in Miami.
