Atlanta Falcons Vs. Philadelphia Eagles: Michael Vick Not Practicing Today; Gear Up For Kevin Kolb

According to Eagles Head Coach Andy Reid, QB Michael Vick (rib injury) will NOT practice Wednesday. #atlphi10less than a minute ago via TweetDeck

It’s looking more and more like the Falcons will miss their chance at making up for last year’s e-Vick-sceration (HELLO?) and will instead have to contain the more traditional Kevin Kolb.

Kolb may still be the second-best passer the Birds will have faced yet, and he’s got weapons like the third verse in “ATLiens.” The Eagles offense, which has posted the league's fifth-best yards per play average, is going to score regardless.

It’s disappointing from a storyline perspective, especially since Atlanta has a pass rush now and Vick is so very sackable, but most Falcons fans are going to be more confident in facing Kolb, who’s been sacked eight times in 89 dropbacks himself.
