TV Schedule 10/24: Bengals-Falcons, Vikings-Packers, Patriots-Chargers, Cardinals-Seahawks

NLCS: San Francisco Giants at Philadelphia Phillies, 7:30, Fox: Not necessary, as both league championship series ended with the wonderful underdog picking off a universally despised (CLOSE ENOUGH) dynasty. The world now gets to enjoy at least four more games of Giants P Brian Wilson. The World Series starts Oct. 27 in San Francisco, and SB Nation has all the World Series coverage you could ever ask for.

Georgia Bulldogs at Kentucky Wildcats encore, 11a, CSS: The Dawgs took it to Kentucky last night, sparked by a big day for Washaun Ealey and a defense that just gets more and more aggressive. The words SEC East continue to pop up around here, and nobody's really worried about jinxing this thing. Game plan for Florida-Georgia by watching the replay.

↵

GAME OF THE DAY! Cincinnati Bengals at Atlanta Falcons, 1, CBS: Really hate looking like a mega homer here and giving GAME OF THE DAY! to a game between two non-rivals with a combined six wins, but have you surveyed the rest of what we're operating with? An NFC West showdown, the Pats against the rotten husk of the Chargers, and Frrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrve. America will take Bengals WRs Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens arguing about Canadian military history than any of that. Actually, they'd rather watch Brt Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaerv. Follow along with our live Bengals-Falcons coverage, and join The Falcoholic.

Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks
, 4, Fox: Either this is really clever scheduling by the NFL, or we're missing something here. We couldn't get two 1 o'clock games on a day that includes Eagles-Titans, Steelers-Dolphins, or the absurdist physical comedy of 49ers-Panthers? All right, showcase this NFC West football for us, NFL.

↵

New England Patriots at San Diego Chargers, 4, CBS: This is the worst 4 o'clock pairing ever. You can't blame the league for expecting Pats-Bolts to be a good and interesting game, but they should've known better about Cards-Seahawks. Anyway, the Chargers are 2-4, and not a fluky 2-4. They've really earned that mark. WR Vincent Jackson is back, but now he's beginning his three-game suspension, so he's not really back.

↵

LSU Tigers at Auburn Tigers encore, 6, CSS: Yesterday's GAME OF THE DAY! wasn't quite, but it was close, and should establish Auburn as college football's team to beat, or at least the team right next to the Oregon Ducks, if you care more about points than on whom those points were scored.

Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers, 8, NBC: Brett Favre. Brett Favre takes on Aa. Brett Favre. Brett Favre takes on Aaron R. Brett Favre. Brett Favre takes on Aaron Rodgers an. Brett Favre.
