Everyone complained about the Falcons offense being “stale” and “nonexplosive.” Well Matt Ryan and Roddy White firmly answered those critics hooking up on two long pass plays. These big plays paved the way for Brian Finneran in the red-zone as he grabbed a touchdown from Ryan for his second on the season. The robotic knees of ole man Finneran continue to work and surprise even the season fans among us.
What was surprising however is that Turner didn’t have many carries. Expect that to change as Mularkey looks to get back to what he knows best, 2 yard carries. However I’d like to see him continue opening up the playbook spreading the field and in turn helping out Turner.
The defense needs to hold their own however for this thing to work. It’ll be interesting to see if we can cover Ochocinco and Terrell Owens but one can hope we can get the job done.
