The Arizona Cardinals continue their tour of the NFC South by hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Cardinals are 1-1 against NFC South teams, getting blown out by the Atlanta Falcons 41-7 and beating the New Orleans Saints 30-20. They have the worst offense in the NFL and have the 27th ranked defense. There's not a whole lot to like here, however, the Cardinals have alternated wins and losses every week this season and after a loss in Seattle in Week 8, this is their week to win.
Head coach Raheem Morris called the Buccaneers the best team in the NFC and he wasn't going to let logic and common sense sway him. "Stats are for losers," Morris said after it was pointed out that the Buccaneers have yet to beat a team with a winning record and are ranked near the bottom in several key categories. I love the passion and hope the Buccaneers are able to pull it off for one more week. After all, the Cardinals don't have a winning record and it would setup a much better story when the Falcons host them in Week 10 with the division lead on the line.
