The Atlanta Falcons began the 2010 season in Pittsburgh and played to a 9-9 tie at the end of regulation before an overtime touchdown gave the Steelers the win. In Week 3, the Falcons became the first team to beat the Saints this season - another overtime thriller - but that gets less and less impressive each time the defending Super Bowl champions lose to teams like the Arizona Cardinals and Cleveland Browns.
This week, the Steelers travel to Bourbon Street on Halloween to try and send the Saints to 4-4. This really is a must-win for the Saints. A loss here puts them, essentially, 2.5 games behind the Falcons in the division race. The Steelers are among seven AFC teams that are very, very good. This is only a must-win for them because they don't want to lose pace for homefield advantage. The AFC currently has eight teams with two or fewer losses. By comparison, the NFC has only four.
The Saints are favored by one which means the linemakers know the Steelers are the better team, but they are giving the Saints the benefit of the doubt, playing at home in primetime.
