Carolina Panthers-St. Louis Rams Score: 20-10, Panthers Lose And Fall To 1-6

The Carolina Panthers continue to struggle to find any consistency this season. After getting their first win of the season last week, they get back to their losing ways in a 20-10 loss to the St. Louis Rams. There wasn't too much to like this one as neither offense was impressive. The loss for the Panthers all but eliminates them from playoff contention while the Rams still stay close to NFC West leader, Seattle.

Sam Bradford threw two touchdown passes and the Rams defense bottled up the Panthers offense by forcing four turnovers. My fantasy start of the week, Jonathan Stewart had only 30 yards on 14 carries. Yeah, sorry about that. Steve Smith did have 85 yards on nine catches and he was my honorable mention, so there's that.

The Atlanta Falcons still have two games against the Panthers this season and if both teams keep playing the way they've been playing, a couple of W's for the Falcons seem destined.
