[VIDEO] Ravens Vs. Falcons Thursday Night Football: Jason Snelling Touchdown Gave Falcons Second Quarter Lead

The Atlanta Falcons are undefeated this season when they score first. We are about to find out if that stat will remain true thanks to a 28-yard catch-and-run touchdown by backup running back, Jason Snelling. Snelling took advantage of an obvious blown coverage to break free in the secondary and then proceeded to run over Dawan Landry of the Ravens, giving the Falcons a 7-0 lead. Enjoy the glorious video from NFL.com:

Jason Snelling runs over the Ravens for the game’s first score

Snelling already has three catches for 37 yards and has added eight yards on two carries. With the ground game slow to get going, Snelling could be a big factor this one since Michael Turner – no matter how much the coaches say he can – doesn’t catch passes. Snelling now has four touchdowns this season.

As the second quarter winds down in the first Thursday Night Football game of the season, the Ravens and Falcons continue their defensive struggle.
